Our Vision

Disciples at The Well are changed by Christ, driven by Compassion, and growing in Community. Our spiritual growth is threefold: Formational, Missional, and Relational. Our prayer is to be a church that looks like Heaven: Multi-Generational, Multi-Socio Economic, and Multi-Racial. From all walks of life people praying, serving, giving, worshiping, and becoming family in Christ.

Our Story

The Well Church - East Parker County

The Well Church, originally founded as Christ Church West, began its journey on September 18, 2011, serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Led by Pastor Jack and Miranda Hunt, a dedicated team from Christ Church in Fort Worth planted what would become the first of five churches in DFW.

From the start, our mission was to establish a sovereign, independent church dedicated to spreading the Gospel and transforming lives. With support from Christ Church, we built a foundation focused on spiritual growth, community engagement, and sharing the love of Christ.

In October 2016, we rebranded as The Well Church, a name that better reflects our identity and mission within the East Parker County community. We are deeply thankful for the support and guidance of Christ Church during our early years. We have sister church in Weatherford, Godley, Burleson, and Downtown Fort Worth.

In June 2020, after eight and a half years of worshiping in a banquet hall, we moved into our permanent church home, even amidst the challenges of the global pandemic. This marked a significant milestone for our church family, solidifying our presence as a growing, vibrant church in Parker County.

Today, The Well Church continues to thrive, with a strong, committed congregation dedicated to living out the Gospel. With many stories of transformation and hope, we look forward to what God has planned for our future.

Join us at The Well Church in East Parker County as we continue to grow and serve our community.

Our Beliefs

We believe the Scriptures are Inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind. While divine inspiration can still occur, the Bible offers foundational truths of which to affirm and confirm new inspirations. We believe the Bible is without error.

We believe in one personal God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power, authority, and glory.

We believe Jesus Christ to be the virgin-born Son of God who lived in flesh, died for the sins of the world, was buried, rose again bodily, and ascended to the Father.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who regenerates and indwells every believer in Jesus, assures us of our salvation, guides us into all truth, glorifies Jesus, and convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and empowers us for service.

We believe though originally good, Man willingly fell to sin–ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world. We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

We believe every person can have restored fellowship with God through salvation. We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way for the forgiveness of sin. God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation cannot be earned; it is a gift from God.

We believe the Church has a Mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. We believe 'the Church' is the Body of Christ and consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God's offer of redemption (regardless of religious denomination) through the sacrificial death of His son Jesus Christ.

We believe in the personal, visible return of Christ to the earth and the establishing of his Kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, and the final judgment. We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Dream

In our communities we will be a hub of local discipleship, outreach, and ministry; with financial capacity and abundance to meet needs and facility ministry.

Kingdom Builders

We believe it is our calling – our mission – to see the Great Commission advance. Kingdom Builders is our way of bringing the Good News of the gospel to everyone, everywhere. From communities and partners a short drive away to people and places around the world—Kingdom Builders is a mutual fund supporting the Gospel of Jesus Christ here, near, and there. Through Kingdom Builders, we can participate in Kingdom advancement through over and above giving, and watch God do the miraculous as we partner with Christ-centered missionaries and ministries all around the world.

The Vine

This 501c3 non-profit associated foundation will target needs related to families in crisis. The mission of this non-profit will be to provide H.O.M.E.S.: Housing, Opportunities, Mentoring, Education, and Safety.

Church Planting

We feel the optimal size of a body of believers is NOT a mega-church. Our strategy for growth is exponential in nature. Upon reaching 350 in a weekend average attendance, we will send 100 Wellers out to plant a church. This exponential off-site growth is expected to continue in the years to come, extending across many communities and cities.
